History: 
Xanthi started out a little unfortunate, it's where his sticky fingers got their start. After losing his family he had become mute with shock, but it made him unsuspecting and easy to underestimate, it was only after he merged with his pokemon that he got his voice back and a boost of confidence. 

It has been a long journey to where Xanthi is now, master thief, whisper in the dark. When a child cries sometimes they say it is because they saw the Midnight fox. When a window shutter rattles with the moon high in the sky, they say it is an omen that something precious will be lost. When someone cries out in ecstasy some- ahem... well. You get the gist? Xanthi has now become a figment, a mist, a shadow. He steals for pleasure, leaving a card only as warning that he has been there.
